I’m not usually one for surveys, but I thought this would help document this time.
Baby’s Name: Skye Alison
Birth & Current Weight: Birth: 5lb 12oz; at 6 mo appt: 14lb 7oz.
Birth & Current Length: Birth: 19in; at 6 mo appt: 25in
Does your baby have teeth yet, or is he/she cutting any?: Nada, even though every time she’s the least bit ornery, I say she’s teething ;)
Is your baby sitting yet?: Yes and now she’s moving on to pulling up
Is your baby crawling yet?: Yes, and we just bought the baby gate
Does your baby show affection to you?: Yes, she beams when she smiles and giggles at us
Does your baby allow you to cuddle her?: Yes! unless it’s with daddy’s itchy face
In one or two words describe your baby’s personality: Sweet and silly
Does your baby laugh often?: When provoked, which we try to do often since her laugh is the best sound eVor!
How much hair does your baby have?: An inch or so, we’re just waiting for Rapunzel to show up
How long does your baby play alone on the floor/swing/exersaucer, etc?: ~30 min at a time
What time does your baby go to bed for the night, and what time does she wake in the morning?: Down between 7–9p, up between 5–9a
How often and how long does your baby nap during the day?: every 2 hours for about 45min–2 hours, mostly 45min
Is your baby breast or formula fed?: formula
Has your baby eaten any cereals or solids yet, if so, how did she like them?: Rice cereal at 5 months. Now she’s had squash, carrots, yams and peas. Jury is still out on her opinion about them. But she LOVES cold water.
Has your baby had any allergic reactions to either foods or breast milk/formula?: Nope, thank goodness
How often does your baby poop?: 1–2 times a day
How often do you bathe your baby, and does she enjoy it?: We just started a bedtime routine, so once a night. It’s growing on her and she seems to have more and more fun each night sucking on the turtles heads.
Does your baby display separation anxiety when you leave her with strangers?: I don’t even think she’s noticed that we’ve gone! She loves seeing and being in new places.
