Our little girl is growing up, so we went to the park to take some pics of the progress. (And to try out the new camera, because the little one decided the lens in our previous one shouldn’t be moving in and out of the camera anymore.)

OMG – I am just sitting here with tears in my eyes – and missing my granddaughter so much – She is absolutely beautiful – just as I had imagined 19 months ago that she would be. I can’t wait for you all to be home and I can see that beautiful smile up close and run my fingers through her curly hair. I saw a little girl yesterday that was about her age and she was smiling teasingly at me and I almost cried then – because the closer it gets to you coming home – the more I miss that little one and her mommy and daddy. Can’t wait till you are here. Love You All So Much.
Wow, I can’t believe she is 18 months already. I feel like you just wrote about her birthday on here. It goes so fast.
She’s only 18 months, she’s still got a few weeks until 19 months. ;)
But yeah, it is getting harder and harder the closer it gets. There have been many conversations about why we can’t just leave now.
What I meant was I was thinking how cute she would be even before she was born. Hence the book – I loved you before you were born.

Look at us on a blog, hooray!!! We too look around at different children that might look like our Skye. Every time we do, we miss your family so much!!! Veda is right its hard not to cry when we can’t be there to share your family’s moments. It is also hard to not have you guys here to share life with us, miss you Benjam & you Chelse. First off, I really miss you guys! Second as you already now, Skye is a cutie. Third what kind of camera?
It’s just a cheapy Nikon Coolpix L19. It was the cheapest one they had in the store that wasn’t disposable. Funny thing is, it’s nearly the same as the camera we had previously.
I can’t take it! She is so beautiful and expressive!! I know it’s going to be both exciting and difficult to move back…but soo many people are looking forward to it.
